Being a game artist is one of the most rewarding jobs in the industry, they work closely with the game designers, producers, and writers to bring the game’s characters, stories and worlds to life. Character artists are hired to create either 2D character sprites or 3D character models,
while environmental artists are in-charge of creating the areas the player explores. 3D environmental artist is expected to create 3D models with texture, lighting, and color. There is also a high demand for concept artists and illustrators in the gaming industry.
